jQuery UI
Using JavaScript along with HTML and CSS we can build exciting website and online experiences. Much has been done to make it easier to use JavaScript. jQuery and jQuery plugins put many tools and effects into easy reach. Beyond just using these plugins, we can also learn how to envision and implement our own. Recently I was introduced to jQuery UI and have found it helpful in adding effects and functionality to my websites.
This handy library of user interface type plugins assist in making quick tried and true effects, menus, and much more.
Here are three demo pages (just a sample of the many I've tried). On the demo pages use the button to reveal the code used to created my demos. You will have to go to the http://jqueryui.com/download/ page to select and download the plugin needed. (Get them all so you can play with them)
